Pin It Here is a Mother's Day card, I made last night for a dear friend at church. My mother died 4 yrs ago and my mother-in-law last Mother's Day. Making cards for others is part of the joy of making cards!

I'm sorry this card looks so flat. I had to scan it (another church friend is using my camera for prom).

To make it I used tan card stock and used a white floral background paper from amscan*. The flowers are silk flowers from the Dollar Store. I cut them down a bit to fit the card, which is about 51/2"x5 1/2" The leaves are cut from the Cricut Home
Accents cartridge. The ribbon is a piece of crochet thread. The scallop edge is from an .SVG file from Wanda's Crafts.

Thanks for stopping in today. Hope you have had a wonderful day wherever you are.

I could easily see this as a Get Well, Hello, Birthday or Mother's Day card. It is going to be a Get Well card for my use. The side scroll is an .svg file I found at Wandas Crafts . The paper from K&Company, I've had for years, you know the kind you keep for just the right occasion! Well, the occasion finally arose to use it. I stamped the side scroll lightly with MS Stem Green ink. The daisy is an .svg file and the very center of it is syrofoam ball shavings colored with brown ink and water. To get stryofoam shavings just rub two strofoam balls together. Excellent for snow. That's all I have for you today. Thanks for spending some time with me.
